STATE INCENTIVES

  • Opportunities for Wind Funding through Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority (GEFA)

  • Georgia Clean Energy Property Tax Credit
    • residential and non-residential
  • Production Incentive
    • TVA - Green Power Switch Generation Partners Program
      • commercial and residential
  • Interconnection Requirement
    • commercial, industrial, residential, nonprofit, schools, local and state government, and federal government
  • Bi-Directional Metering Incentive
    • commercial, industrial, and residential

FEDERAL INCENTIVES

Utility Scale:
  • Renewable Electricity Production Tax Credit (PTC) - commercial and industrial
    • Under present law, an income tax credit of 2.1 cents/kilowatt-hour is allowed for the production of electricity from utility-scale wind turbines.
  • Production Incentive
    • Renewable Energy Production Incentive (REPI): local government, state government, tribal government, municipal utility, rural electric cooperative, native corporations

Small Scale:
  • Personal Tax Credit
    • Residential Energy Efficiency Tax Credit

    • Residential Renewable Energy Tax Credit
